Golden Tulip has created this international website in order to offer business
and leisure travellers more convenience in making a hotel reservation 7 days a
week, 24 hours a day. The secure on-line reservation system is a product from
Pegasus Solutions, the world market leader in software for hotel reservations.

Cancel a reservation
After making a reservation, a confirmation number will be displayed and you
will receive a confirmation by e-mail. This number, together with your e-mail
address, offers the possibility to cancel your reservation. If you are unable
to cancel the reservation within the time requirements stated in the hotel's
cancellation policy (noted on their rate pages), some hotels might apply a one
night or more cancellation charge. To make a cancellation please click the
"Reservations" in the top right and follow the instructions in the
"Cancel a reservation" section of that page.

Company rates
Companies that have special agreements with Golden Tulip are able to reserve
accommodation on-line in a secure environment at the special agreed rate. Every
company that has an agreed rate and that wishes to make on-line reservations 7
days a week, 24 hours a day, will be given a username and password which can be
used on www.goldentulip.com only. All you have to do is fill out you username
and password as provided and follow the reservation procedure. Once you select
a hotel with which you have a special rate agreement this special rate will be
displayed together with the standard rate of the hotel. Should for whatever
reason your special rate not be available, you have the opportunity to select
the standard rate for this hotel. You may also select any other Golden Tulip
hotel in the same area of your choice, irrespective of the fact that you may
have no agreed special rate with this hotel, and book the rate available.

Make a reservation
Golden Tulip provides you a flexible and global option to
make hotel reservations via our secure Web server connection by clicking on the
"Book It" command button on the property page where you are interested in
staying.
Our on-line booking service enables you to make or cancel
reservations to accommodate your travel needs. When making reservations
on-line, we need a credit card at the time of the reservation request to
process the reservation. The credit card is only being used to secure, hold or
guarantee the reservation until you arrive. If you are unable to cancel the
reservation within the time requirements stated in the hotel's cancellation
policy (noted on their rate pages), some hotels may apply a one night or more
cancellation charge. Be sure to cancel the reservation promptly if your travel
plans change to avoid unnecessary charges.

Hotel Rates
Golden Tulip automatically reflects the property's current rates that are
automatically updated from the central reservation system of our hotels.
Shopping for hotels or special deals? Golden Tulip offers a wide
range of special deals that are published in the special offers section. Golden
Tulip only sells the rates that are displayed within the hotel rate
information. We cannot negotiate a better rate than what is published on our
site.

Reservation Confirmations
When making your reservation on-line, we will provide you with an instant
confirmation. We will further verify your reservation with an e-mail
confirmation.

Hotel Availability
All hotels that are displayed on the Golden Tulip can be reserved at the time
of a reservation request unless the hotel has indicated they are not available
for a specific date.
If you are interested in the availability of a specific property
you have found on goldentulip.com, you can use the "Book It" button found on
any individual hotel page and proceed through three quick steps. This is only
an availability check. To make a reservation you must complete the remaining
two steps.

Prepaying & Guaranteeing Hotel Reservations
Our properties will require a credit card number to "secure or hold" your
reservation. Any prepayment or guarantee requirements the property has will be
communicated to you before you make a reservation at a specific property.

been provided to us by the hotels. It is possible that, due to building or
management alterations, some services or facilities could differ. Neither
Golden Tulip nor the individual hotels are responsible for these differences.

Hotel Contact and Brochures
Goldentulip.com serves as an electronic brochure and as a booking liason
between the hotel and its clients. If you wish to correspond with an individual
hotel, you will need to contact the hotel directly. The hotel address,
telephone number and e-mail address can be found on the "Details" page of each
hotel and can easily be found by entering the specific hotel name on our search
page.
Unfortunately we are unable to mail out individual hotel
brochures. However, as goldentulip.com is an "electronic brochure", we
encourage you to print the hotel information you are seeking. Each of our
hotels offers the following detailed information:
- Name, address and contact information of a hotel
- A picture of the hotel
- Description of the Hotel
- Information about the Hotel location
- Information about the facilities and services provided by each hotel

Hotel Amenities on and nearby the property are displayed on the details page of
each hotel. If, you still have questions about a specific hotel, you will need
to contact the hotel directly. The address, telephone number and e-mail address
for each hotel can easily be found by entering the specific hotel name on our
search page.

Group Reservations
Presently, Golden Tulip does not have the capability to book more than five
rooms per request. If you like to book a larger group please contact the hotel
of your choice directly. For those of you who need a greater number of rooms,
we advise you to contact the hotel directly. The address, telephone number and
e-mail address for each hotel can easily be found by entering the specific
hotel name on our search page.

Hotels pays travel agent commissions to accredited travel agents (e.g. IATA,
TIDS) worldwide. This is done by Pegasus Commission Payment (PCP), a service of

Searching For Hotels
Performing a search on the Golden Tulip website is very simple. The site
provides you with two different search options depending on your requirements.
The information must be filled out in the box “Find hotel”

Search for Country and City
This tool is designed for the user who knows the city and country he wants to
go to but has not yet decided on the hotel. First one must select a country
with the pull down menu. Automatically all the cities where Golden Tuliphas
hotels will appear in the “Select city” menu. After selecting a city, hotel(s)
will be displayed in the search results. This option can be combined with an
availability check by filling out the arrival and departure. After clicking on
“Check availability” only available hotels will be returned.

Search by Hotelname
If the name of the hotel is already known, one only needs to fill out that name
or part of the name (not part of a word!) and the search engine will show
corresponding results. For example when looking for Tulip Inn Amsterdam Art,
just enter “Amsterdam Art” and the hotel will be displayed. By filling out the
word Art you will also find the hotel and our other hotel that has the word Art
in its name: Golden Tulip Art Hotel Vienna. If the search engine returns with a
response that states, "No matches were found for your request”, this means no
properties were found meeting the specific criteria. If this occurs, it is
recommended to check the spelling of the hotel name and try again.
Each search will default to displaying all hotels within the city/destination
requested that are available on the Golden Tulip site. All searches will
default to displaying hotels in a random order.

How do I make reservations?
For your convenience we have created an online booking mechanism that allows an
individual to make instant reservations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This can
be done by going to the property you wish to book and clicking on the Book It
button. The reservation steps are as follows:

Enter your travel dates in the “Check availability” section (tip: use the
calendar)

Select the number of persons and the number of rooms

Click on “Check availability”

To find more information about a rate click on “Get More Details”, to book a
displayed rate click the associated “Book This Rate” button

After selecting “Book This Rate”, fill out the reservation form

If all the information is correct, click on “Book now” to complete the
reservation

The reservation is confirmed to you in the screen and by e-mail.
